"There is no place for such people in Warsaw" - activists canceled classes for a famous Ukrainian blogger
Blogger Sofia Stuzhuk intended to organize a free workout for her followers in a park in Warsaw. However, activists of Euromaidan Warsaw opposed this, calling for a protest against her. It is known that Stużuk did not condemn the actions of the Russian Federation in Ukraine and does not mention in her blog the actions of the Russian army on the territory of her native country.
Activists of Euromaidan Warsaw interfered with the plans of the famous instagrammer Sofia Stużuk to hold an open training session in a Warsaw park. After the large-scale invasion began, Stuzhuk moved from Ukraine to Latvia. She is often criticized for supporting Russian views. She has not condemned the actions of Russia in Ukraine, and while vacationing in Dubai, she called herself "Russian." She also restricted access to her profile for Ukrainians.
On September 15, Stuzhuk announced a free training session in Warsaw on her Instagram and called on everyone to join. Activists reacted to this news and decided to "meet" with the blogger. To receive details about the training location, they had to confirm their participation. Those who expressed a desire to meet with Stuzhuk received a message with details. Natalia Panchenko, an Euromaidan activist, shared this message. In particular, it was noted that the meeting would take place in Brudnovsky Park on Saturday, September 16, at 12:00.
Activists called for participation in the meeting, but in the form of a protest. A fund called the 'Stuzhuk collection' was organized, to which contributions were called for. They planned to transfer the funds to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was done both to support the army and to ironize the blogger, who does not initiate collections to support the military.
However, the blogger did not show up for the scheduled training at the specified location. "It looks like Ms. Stużuk decided not to do her 'Russian World' in the center of Warsaw, close to the civilized world," the activists commented.
This was a clear sign for bloggers with pro-Russian views. Poland is a country that supports Ukraine. There is no place for the "Russian world" here.
Nevertheless, the blogger still held her training, but in a different place.
In the evening, Stużuk posted a message saying that she did not want to comment on the situation. The next day, she reported that the training took place on private property. She took bodyguards and changed the location out of fear for her safety and the safety of others. For those who missed the training, she promised new opportunities for joint training. As for the activists, the bad blogger believes that they "don't know who they are fighting."
Additionally, Stużuk shared a photo that possibly shows correspondence about planning a protest with the slogan "Warsaw without Stużuk".
