Shumei apologizes to Olena Mozgova for copyright infringement
Ukrainian singer Oleg Shumey, who recently sang Mykola Mozgovoy's song "Day goes by, night goes by," apologized to his daughter for copyright infringement.
The artist transferred UAH 50 thousand to her "Thank You" fund. Mozgova, for her part, gave the singer permission to perform the song.
💬 He called, apologized, and said that in the future he would be more attentive to any copyright. The conflict is over. I allowed the song to be performed, although I noted that it was difficult for him, but he has the right to his vision. He will have official permission for a symbolic sum of 100 UAH. And he agreed to my proposal to donate to the needs of the Armed Forces to the account of my "Thank You" fund," Mozgova wrote.
She also added that all the money Oleh sent to her foundation will be used to buy a night vision device for the guys from the 137th Tank Brigade near Bakhmut.
