Huge 20-meter photo of car cemetery in Irpin installed in New York
An impressive 20-meter-long photo of an automobile cemetery in Irpen has been installed in New York.
This image consists of 35 separate images, assembled together to reveal details: damaged vehicles, personal belongings of owners who left them while fleeing the war, children's toys and other items.
This image was posted to remind the local population of the war in Ukraine, The Guardian reports.
The photo shows dozens of burned-out cars of Ukrainian civilians who tried to leave Irpin early last year. The author of this image is Phil Buehler, who decided to post it after Republicans in the US Congress presented a temporary spending plan without funding for Ukraine.
The photo was taken by Buehler during his visit to Kyiv. It was titled "Irpin, Ukraine: Don't Forget Us, Please."
