Stradivarius violin made in 1730 was found in a bus by Odesa border guards
At one of the checkpoints in Odesa region, border guards found a 1730 Stradivarius violin in a bus.
The driver and the stewardess said they did not know how it ended up in the bus. The owner of the instrument was not identified, and the violin was handed over to experts.
During his long life, Antonio Stradivari made about 2,500 instruments, of which 732 are undoubtedly authentic. In particular, 632 violins, 63 cellos, and 19 violas. In addition to the bowed instruments, the maestro also made harps and two guitars.
