Ukraine Unbroken: 2 Years of Strength
Join us for an unforgettable evening commemorating the resilience and spirit of Ukraine at the Ukrainian Cultural Center on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 6 pm-10 pm.
The event will feature the premiere of the work-in-progress materials of a film about the war called BUCHA — a story that needs to be heard. BUCHA is the heroic account of a refugee from Kazakhstan who saved hundreds of Ukrainians from occupied territories to safety. This is an inspirational film of quiet and modest heroism. We will have both the Producer, Oleksandr Shchur, and Director, Stanislav Tiunov, with us, participating in our Q&A.
The team received support in the production and filming of the movie from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Service of Ukraine, and the National Police of Ukraine, who also serve as co-producers and distributors of the film.
We aim to illuminate the incredible strength and determination of Ukrainian people to bring attention to the cause and also inspire others to join the global effort in supporting Ukraine. Ukrainian officials and celebrities that have been of great support to Ukraine will be joining us for the evening.
Reception to follow with Ukrainian hors d'oeuvres
