Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in education, counseling, or related field
- Three (3) years of experience working with marginalized and culturally diverse populations in an advising, workforce development, and/or social work role
- Intermediate level skill with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Basic skill with Microsoft Excel, Forms and Access.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in education, counseling, or related field
- Bilingual in English and either Spanish, Russian/Ukrainian or Vietnamese
- Experience providing direct service and/or interpreting and translating in Spanish, Russian/Ukrainian or Vietnamese
- Knowledge of and experience with student services functions at a community college setting such as financial aid, advising, counseling
- Current driver's license, insurance and access to reliable automobile during work hours for transportation to off-campus sites
- Training and experience using student information systems and student resources platforms such as EAB navigate, Jenzabar: CARS or CX, TOPS Pro, or Banner
- Experience using remote meeting platforms, preferably Zoom
