Zelensky overtakes Biden in the popularity rating in America
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been included in the list of the most popular people actively followed by US citizens. Only one person was more popular than him.
This information is based on a poll conducted by the Gallup pollster on August 9.
Prince William, the contender for the British royal throne, has gained popularity among Americans, receiving 59% support and only 22% negative feedback.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is in second place with 57% support. However, 29% of Americans have a negative view of him. Interestingly, his support among Democrats is much higher than among Republicans, and the difference is almost three times.
Only William and Zelensky were able to get more than 50% support in the poll.
Third place goes to US First Lady Jill Biden with 49% support, despite 39% negative feedback. King Charles III of the United Kingdom has 46% support and 37% negative feedback.
Joe Biden and Donald Trump have the same approval rate - 41%. However, there is a significant amount of negative feedback against both - 57% and 55% respectively.
However, the lowest level of popularity is for Russian President Putin, with only 5% of positive responses and 90% of negative ones. This is his worst performance since 2002, when the poll was launched.
