The US is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine
&&The US presidential administration is preparing to announce a new military aid package for the Ukrainian army, Politico reports. The details of the new aid package have not yet been specified. However, it is claimed that information on the provision of additional weapons may be announced early next week.&&
The United States has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine, worth $400 million. The package includes:
- additional ammunition for Patriot and NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems;
- Stinger complexes;
- additional HIMARS ammunition;
- 155-mm and 105-mm artillery ammunition;
- 120-mm and 60-mm mortars;
- 32 Stryker armored personnel carriers;
- missiles with optical tracking and wire guidance TOW;
- Javelin systems and other anti-tank systems and missiles;
- Hornet unmanned aerial systems;
- Hydra-70 missiles;
- explosive munitions to overcome obstacles;
- more than 28 million rounds of ammunition for small arms and grenades;
- night vision devices and thermal imagers;
- spare parts, training ammunition and other field equipment.
This package reflects the U.S. support for the Ukrainian army and its efforts to defend Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
