As an interpreter working with OCIN you will facilitate communication between English speakers and ELL (English Language Learners) in different settings.
Interpreters break language barriers between English speakers and ELL individuals by interpreting the message from one language to another, maintaining accuracy and clarity. Interpreters work as independent contractors, thus in their own schedule. They can accept or decline jobs.
All experience levels are welcome, and free training will be provided. All interpreters are encouraged to seek further training and to eventually be registered with the Oregon Health Authority.
Our goal is to assist in creating self-sustaining professionals, join our network and let us assist you in achieving your professional and financial goals.
