About the Performance
More than just a play, “Kyivska Perepichka” is an honest, poignant, and at times ironic conversation about the lives of Ukrainians in the aftermath of the full-scale war.
Through the personal story of its heroine, the audience will experience a powerful range of emotions — from laughter to tears, from light nostalgia to deep pain, from subtle lyricism to sharp satire.
“Kyivska Perepichka” is an emotional journey that makes you laugh, empathize, reflect, and, most importantly, feel.
It is a story about the love of life, the strength of Ukrainians, loss, hope, and resilience.
The production has already welcomed thousands of viewers across Ukraine and Europe and received enthusiastic responses from audiences and critics. Now, the Ukrainian community in the United States will have a unique opportunity to experience it live.
